This group of dynamic emerging Wellington based artists question how we consider intimacy,
relationships, gender and sexuality, and how we become possible and known to each other,
and to ourselves.
Working in moving image, both individually and collaboratively, these artists use the potential
of the form through narrative, cinematics, and point of view, to examine the body as a subject
and a medium.
Intimate Distance attempts to account for the distances which both separate and surround us,
shaping our experiences of the world.
