
Lauren is a freelance art writer and curator based in Pōneke. She completed her Bachelor of Arts with Honours at Victoria University in 2025. She is tangata tiriti and her practice is rooted in a decolonial methodology. In her writing she is attracted to art that speaks to modern life and pushes us to question ourselves and our assumptions. She also works as a tenancy advocate at Community Law Wellington and Hutt Valley, and in her spare time she loves collaging, live music, and her polydactyl cat, Rory.
