Les voitures sont plus lentes en Amérique (2018)

8 min 33 secSingle channel / Digital Video / Colour / Sound

“Waking, the protagonist finds two objects, one inside and the other outside their dwelling. Intending to lead the viewer into a dream narrative of a kind of continually threatened theoretical space where every image might be turned to be used or claimed as an art-work. Synthesis’s of many images and sounds by a machine-sequence randomised into an action of splitting the images. In a cinematic joining of places; New Zealand, Queensland and NSW, the protagonist travels in their mind to follow a sequences of pictures and leaving the objects they situate themselves in a borderland enclosed by the ocean and also by the machine."
