Recorded during the march on Labour Weekend Saturday 2008 in which descendants of the 28th Māori Battalion reenacted the return of the C Coy after WWII - the march began at Gisborne Train Station and travels to Te Poho o Rawiri Marae to celebrate the book launch of Nga Tama Toa: The Price of Citizenship, by Dr Monty Soutar.
Two-channel video installation, new work in production 2008/2009 total duration 52 mins. The recordings are a fixed point-of-view shot from a NZ army Unimog with front and rear facing HD cameras. The final two-channel video installation will be an uncut looping cycle of 52mins with stereo sound." - AM
