CIRCUIT Activities

Proxy of Heaven, Films by Zuan Wu screens this Friday 21st April at 7:30pm at the Pyramid Club in Wellington. Super8 mm film diaries, karaoke videos, found-footage accompanied by live scores from Nell Thomas, Dan Beban and others. Tzuan Wu will attend. $10 door sales only, limited seats. Presented by CIRCUIT with support from Unitec. 

In international news, CIRCUIT returns to the Oberhausen IFF in May, with works by Sarah Hudson, Fiona Amundsen, Samuel Ostermann, Peter Wareing, Juliet Carpenter and Gregory Kan, and Daniel Malone. En route we'll be screening Sam Hamilton's Apple Pie (2016) on Tues 9 May and the 2016 CIRCUIT cinema commissions This Is Not Filmmaking Wednesday 10 May at CLOSE-UP, London, 7:30pm. 

A Little Faith, a programme addressing alternative systems of belief and strategies of resistance in a time of institutional failure, screens at The Govett Brewster Art Gallery / Len Lye Centre from 6 May. With works by Steve Carr, Karin Hofko, Peter Wareing, Murray Hewitt, Sonya Lacey, Jordana Bragg and Martin Rumsby. Commissioned by the Govett Brewster as part of their Projection Series, curated by CIRCUIT.
