One Minute Enlightenment (2012)

Images of a man and a woman from 1970s magazines are stop-frame animated. They perform exercises and movement intimating a desire for wellness and spiritual centredness. The audio soundtrack of upbeat contemporary pop music is accompanied by affirmative instruction and onscreen text which seem typical of the self-help movement. The images of the man and woman are interrupted by animated cats whose eyes dilate in hypnotic swirls. A final text card says 'WAKE UP'.
