CIRCUIT Activities
 

From 18-20 December CIRCUIT Director Mark Williams will be presenting at the conference Comparing Experimental Cinemas in Bangalore, India. The event proposes to facilitate the establishing of a network of exchange and support between moving image agencies largely based in the Asia-Pacific region.

From 20 December-4 January the Italian website filmessay.com will present the CIRCUIT programme Goodnight Kiwi, 12 videos designed for the broadcast graveyard of 2-4am, offering moments of aesthetic transformation, mass media critique or personal reflection arising from the effects of solitude and exhausted wakefulness. Artists: Daniel von Sturmer, Bryce Galloway, Bronwyn Holloway-Smith, Miranda Parkes, Brit Bunkley, Mike Heynes, Ben Holmes, Gemma Syme, Clinton Watkins, Lydia Chai, NA Royal, Johannes Contag.

On 23 January CIRCUIT will present works by Tahi Moore, Gavin Hipkins, Andrew de Freitas and Phil Dadson at the Rotterdam Film Festival. Screenings will take place in video art distributors screening section and will be introduced by London-based curator Mercedes Vicente.
