Richard Maloy
Richard Maloy was born in New Zealand in 1977. He studied at the University of Auckland and graduated with a master's degree in Fine Arts in 2002. Maloy works across a range of disciplines including sculpture, photography and video. In 2008 The New Zealand Film Archive (Auckland) exhibited New Work Old Work, a selection of Maloy's video works from 1998-2008.

Beginning with nine rectangular blocks of butter, the artist uses their hands to mould and rework the yellow material.
