This September, CIRCUIT is officially fundraising. We’re aiming to raise $25,000, and we’re asking for your support.
Over the past 15 years CIRCUIT has commissioned over 100 Aotearoa artists to make new films. We've shown artists' work in galleries, festivals and public spaces worldwide. And our free-to-access website streams 1200 videos that all of us can watch from home.
CIRCUIT is Aotearoa's only organisation dedicated solely to artists working in the moving image. But while demand for our artists' work continues to grow, arts funding has not kept pace. Like many arts organisations in Aotearoa, we're facing increasing financial pressure.
This September we’re aiming to raise $25,000. Your donation will help artists make new work, enable CIRCUIT to commission essays, podcasts and ensure our online collection remains free and accessible for everyone.
As part of our September fundraiser, any donations from $250 receive a free copy of CIRCUIT: Dialogues in Artist Moving Image, a forthcoming survey publication of CIRCUIT commissions 2015-25.
