"On a backdrop of native NZ forest, a jet plane descends perpetually. At once a symbol for progress and for destruction, this paradox is extended in Carte Blanche. Playing on our modern Armageddon-esque mindset, the viewer is invited to watch and wait for an end that never comes. Suspense suspended. This work was created using an elaborate custom made wire-rope and pulley rig that flew the camera and scale model plane in tandem through the forest."

Made for continuous loop
Follow a section of power line that carries electricity from Manapouri power station to the Tiwai point aluminium smelter.
A McDonalds is mirrored and cars endlessly loop around the drive-through.
A stoic response to the imminent threat of environmental uprising.
Filmed up close, this work shows the beautiful and mesmerising surface of a soap bubble.
