Duck Calling

An arrangement for tape, voice, one shotgun and duck call. Gray Nicol, with bandaged head, sits beside a sculptural arrangement placed on two stools (a shotgun in a glass case). At the same time as he delivers a monologue punctuated by the sound of duck calls, he unwinds the bandage off his head and around his hand. The tape ends with the sound of breaking glass and a gunshot. Videotape of a five minute performance at the 7th Mildura Sculpture Triennial, Australia, March 1978.
