24 Hour Hollis (2010)

95 min 54 secSingle channel / Colour / Silent

A time-lapse webcam video of 24 hours on Hollis Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia in 2010.

This is a companion piece to the later work, 24 Hour Brunswick (2012). Says the artist: "Both were shot over a 24-hour period with a camera attached to my computer through the window of two different NSCAD offices in Halifax that I occupied over a period of two years 2010–2012. Both videos were then projected back onto a screen in the window during Nocturne, an annual city-wide exhibition in Halifax that takes place annually in mid-October." — Bruce Barber
