Tents are pitched on a fragrant bed of pine bark mulch that fills the gallery. In one tent a large monitor plays an endless loop of a digger drilling a muddy hole. In another, wide-angle, fibre-optic images of mosses and ruined geodesic domes, shot through a re-purposed colonoscope form the ground for a text exploring a complex and contradictory framing of the non-human world.
House in the Forest was included as part of the mixed media installation The Middle Landscape (2009).
