"Recorded during the march on Labour Weekend Saturday 2008 in which descendants of the 28th Māori Battalion reenacted the return of the C Company after WWII. The march began at Gisborne Train Station and travelled to Te Poho o Rāwiri marae to celebrate the book launch of Ngā Tama Toa: The Price of Citizenship, by Dr Monty Soutar.

The recordings are a fixed point-of-view shot from a NZ army Unimog with front and rear facing HD cameras.

The final two-channel video installation is an uncut looping cycle of 52mins with stereo sound."
