Self Camera (2010)

12 min 15 secSingle channel / Digital Video / Colour / Sound

"In this work, I try to utilise both a microscopic and macroscopic perspective, my body is a microcosm for the environment, and I try to create a meaningful relationship with the environment by observing myself through an interplay between real and virtual experience. Self Camera has a self-interrogational nature. Through this work I strive to reframe my body within an imaginary landscape, projecting my psychological desire of a unity that comes from my sense of alienation towards the environment."
