Slow Train 'A Comin' (2007)

8 min 8 secSingle channel / Digital Video / Colour / Sound

Slow Train 'A Comin' (Rural Vignettes) begins with a slow motion train moving across an intersection followed by a similar train moving under the skin of a cow. The series ends with a humorous video clip accompanied by a Hollywood style revolving title "God Was I was Dog", an absurd reference to nature and genetics where palindromic motifs (things which read the same forwards and backwards) are found.
