“TOWARDS THE SUN was roughly based on a collection of writing and drawings I did in 2020 titled Tilt Towards the Sun. The writing was done over a period of quite intense change and transformation. I felt like the foundations I stood on had collapsed... Through this film I thought about hope, coming out the other side. Acknowledging that moment, and moving through it. Looking back, looking forward. Coming to grips with beauty and terror. faith - doubt, pain - pleasure, love - heartbreak. Contrast brings clarity.”
