Where does your mind go? Christina Read talks to Mark Amery about her installation The Brain, now on at Te Uru Waitākere which brings together 15 artists works in an idiosyncratic spatial and conceptual diagram of a brain.

Curated by artist Christina Read and commissioned by CIRCUIT in partnership with Te Uru Waitakere with the support of Creative New Zealand, The Brain is situated within a sculptural platform conceived and constructed by Paul Cullen. 15 single channel video works explore themes including landscapes of perception and cognition, tangible thoughts, altered states, phantom limbs, the wandering mind, TV brains, dream archives, memory files, and the body in movement. Exhibited at Te Uru Waitakere Contemporary Gallery until 15 November 2015.

The last of our podcasts addressing the recent CIRCUIT symposium/festival A Genealogy of Moving Image Practice.
