Jeff Henderson is a musician and artist based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. His most constant creative output is in improvised music, which takes place in an array of evolving collective and solo contexts. His visual and installation-based work includes video, and graphic scores for music making, sometimes using found objects. He creates large-scale collage works which recast images from commercial magazines as feverish assemblages of human facial features and commercial products. He has created soundtracks for film and live theatre. Recent exhibitions include The Strap & Lite Metal (2019) and A Whole Lotta Cocks with No Balls (2013), both at The Audio Foundation, Auckland.
