A More Human World (2019)

1 min 16 sec (excerpt) of 10 minSingle channel / Digital Video / Colour / Black & White / Sound

The atomic age's humanistic optimism is revisited in this hybrid film through the artist's father's slide documentation from Brussels' Expo 58. Featuring the futuristic Atomium, a universalising spirit is the symbolic legacy from the first world trade fair held in the postwar period.

A More Human World premiered at Anthology Film Archives, New York in 2019, and screened at the 33rd Stuttgarter Filmwinter in 2020.
