Born in Gore

The town of Gore nurtures nostalgia for a Scotland that is largely invented in a colonial imagination. Born in Gore is about my own nostalgia for the place I was born and grew up, and a place that I thought I hated at the time.

This work is discussed in an essay by Brendan Jon Philip, 2015.
