"Lousy Speed: or The Geometry of Isolation. Moving between the dense, claustrophobic interior of an East Village apartment and public spaces the two sites capture an internal emotional geography—the oscillation between self-absorption and the desire to escape out into the world. The camera becomes a tool to force an accidental truth out of a staged reality pushing an internal psychological reckoning that wouldn't exist otherwise.
This short film was cut from a master tape that had been sitting in the video archive since the late 1990’s." P.R.W
