M.E. Mahoney House (2015)

2 mins 44 sec4 channel installation / 16mm / transferred to Digital Video / Colour / Silent

Channels 1 and 2 of a 4 channel installation.

"The M.E. Mahoney house was designed in 1968 by my grandfather, Maurice Mahoney. The family home was irreparably damaged in the 2011 Christchurch earthquake, and this film documents the house, room by room, prior to its demolition. Using one roll of found 16mm film, each channel is 250ft, handheld, edited in-camera, and moves through the house from four orientations."
