New Educational Series: Better Military Modelling (2007)

Better Military Modelling follows soldiers navigating submerged aquarium battlefields. We are schooled as a families of fish pass us by, each labelled with reference to their Latin name. A collection of movements of things around miniature monuments mimics a back and forth world in which time is anything but teleological. John Payne’s soundtrack is minimal and low-fidelity, reminiscent of the backing tracks of school learning A.V. presentations.
