"The M at the End of the Earth is a cross-disciplinary video project, which moves between the genres of poetry and video art. The nostalgic experience of the great American road trip with its associations of endless space is reenacted using landscape footage of the American Southwest. This footage of US Route 95 in Nevada runs alongside the Nevada Test Site. The voice over is a reading of a section of Fell’s poem of the same name, published in his collection Beauty of the Badlands (Victoria University Press, 2008)."
