Xi Li was born in Harbin, China and moved to Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland in 2014. Her practice spans film, VR, photography, installation, performance and game-design. She explores the implications of place and identity through philosophical frameworks, focusing on how ideas of ‘self’ are constructed and shaped.
