This video consists of a doubled view from Auckland Sky Tower's revolving restaurant. The city slowly reveals itself as the day fades into the night. Ninety minutes of video is condensed as the revolve becomes faster and faster and gradually appears to spin out of control. From the CCP press release; ‘In an era where the construction of soaring towers and skyscrapers is routinely understood as a measure of success, Randerson asks: is the longing for disaster just an idle thought or a collective fantasy?’
